1. Introduction

Hala Dubai Adventures (“we”, “us”) runs haladubaiadventures.com. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the website, send a booking request or contact us, how we use it, where it is kept and the choices you have.

2. Information you give us

• Booking requests: your name, email address and WhatsApp/phone number (and the country of its dialling code); the tour or option you choose; your preferred date and starting time; the number of guests; your pickup location; your guide-language request; for stopover tours, your flight numbers, times, terminals and luggage; any notes you add; the price shown when you sent the request; and the page and language of the form.
• Messages: what you send us through the contact form, by email or on WhatsApp.
• Reviews: if you submit a review on our website, your name, country, rating and text. Reviews are checked before they are published.

3. Payments and card details

No payment and no card details are needed to send a booking request, and this website never asks for, receives or stores card details.

After we have checked availability and confirmed the arrangements and final price with you, payment is arranged either through a payment link we send you separately or at pickup, where agreed. If you pay by link, you enter your card details on the payment provider’s own page, and the provider handles them under its own terms and privacy policy.

We keep three kinds of information apart: your booking and contact information (described in section 2), payment references (such as the amount, date and reference of a payment, kept with your booking if you pay) and card details (never collected or stored by this website). We do not collect billing addresses on this website.

4. Information collected automatically

• Website analytics (optional): only if you click “Accept” in the cookie banner, Google Analytics 4 records pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location from your IP address and how you arrived. Before you accept, or if you reject, the Google Analytics script is not loaded and nothing is sent to Google. Our analytics events never include your name, email, phone number or notes.
• Security and delivery: our hosting provider processes your IP address to deliver the website. The booking form also uses it briefly, in server memory, to limit repeated requests from the same address.
• Your browser: we save your cookie choice and your preferred currency in your browser’s storage so the site remembers them.

5. How we use your information

• To check availability, date, language and your requirements, and to reply to your request.
• To confirm the arrangements and final price with you, arrange payment and run your tour.
• To send you a copy of your request by email and to contact you by WhatsApp, email or phone about it.
• With your consent only: to understand how the website is used and to measure our advertising.
• To meet legal obligations.

6. Where your information is kept and for how long

Booking requests are saved in Sanity, the service that runs our website content, as private records that only our server and our logged-in team can open. Booking emails are sent through Resend: one to our booking inbox and a copy to you. Messages you send on WhatsApp or by email stay in those apps.

We keep booking information for as long as we need it to handle your request and booking and to meet our legal and accounting obligations. We are currently setting a fixed retention period. Until then, you can ask us at any time to delete your information, and we will do so unless we are required by law to keep it.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the EU GDPR), you can ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, ask us to limit how we use it, and object to its use. You can withdraw your consent to analytics at any time under “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page.

8. Services we use

• Vercel: website hosting.
• Sanity: website content and private storage of booking requests and submitted reviews.
• Resend: sending booking and contact emails.
• Google Analytics 4: website analytics, only if you accept.
• WhatsApp: only if you choose to message us there.

9. Cookies

Our only optional cookies are Google Analytics cookies (and, through it, measurement of our Google advertising). They are set only if you click “Accept”. “Reject” keeps them off, and the website and booking requests work the same either way. You can change your choice at any time under “Cookie settings”; if you withdraw consent, analytics is switched off and its cookies are removed.
