Discover the side of Dubai that existed long before the skyscrapers on a private journey through the city's historic heart. After pickup from your Dubai hotel or residence, explore Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood, also known as Bastakiya, with its narrow lanes, traditional courtyard houses and distinctive wind-tower architecture.
Along the way, discover stories of Dubai's early trading communities and visit an appropriate cultural, museum or mosque stop when available, with your guide providing insight into Emirati traditions, local history and Islamic culture.
Continue to Al Seef, a waterfront district along Dubai Creek where Emirati-inspired architecture and traditional design meet a contemporary promenade. From there, experience the colourful streets of Bur Dubai, Meena Bazaar and the textile-market area.
Take a break to sample a small selection of local street food, which may include shawarma, samosa or luqaimat together with a soft drink, depending on availability.
Then board a traditional wooden abra and cross Dubai Creek, following the historic waterway that helped shape Dubai's development as a trading city. Finish by exploring the aromas and colours of the Spice Souk before continuing to the famous Gold Souk.
At the end of the experience, your private vehicle returns you to your Dubai hotel or residence.
